THE KNOWLEDGE FAIR

The objective of the knowledge fair is to share, and learn from, Countries experiences in projects that target youth in an informal, interactive way. The fair will help participants get introduced to initiatives on youth implemented in different countries, extracting important lessons learned from implementing such projects.

How do you plan to exhibit the good practice at the Knowledge Fair?

  1. This includes packaging and presentation, including for example:
      • brochures, publications
      • website links on computer
      • posters
      • Multi-media, e.g. photos, DVD or video, CD-Rom, slides, etc.
      • short presentation
      • demonstration models or mock-up
      • using display panels or tables
      • other
  2. Estimate the amount of space you think you would need. The exact amount of space for each participant will be indicated later, depending on the number of submissions received.
  3. In addition to yourself, would you be requesting to send an additional resource person to staff your ‘good practices’?

Instructions

  1. Each participant in the fair should prepare the material needed for exhibition. The material will be exhibited at the Forum venue and will be easy to refer to during the Knowledge Fair in the afternoon of every day of the Forum. 
  2. The exhibit should present one or two experiences with youth projects per the following instructions:
    • Title (very brief and, if possible, catchy and attractive title)
    • Two line synopsis of the “project”
    • Brief description/ results or outputs (4 bullet points max.)

Other material
Participants may wish to also exhibit other material at the Knowledge Fair. These could include brochures, publications, website links on computer, posters, multi-media (photos, DVD or video, CD-Rom, slides, etc.), demonstration models or mock-up using display panels or tables or other. If you require any IT equipment or support, please let us know as soon as possible.
